Pinconning Park/Cattail Kayaks
We can affect change on a grand scale through human consciousness. You are invited to bring your beautiful consciousness in the form of prayers and blessings to our Mama Cocha (Lake Huron). She will carry this consciousness to many places as she merges with the light of the Sun and evaporates, then travels on the winds and clouds to distant places.
Water is the universal connector between all life on our planet. Without out healthy water there is no life on Earth. You are invited to kayak in a ceremonial blessing of the waters as we envision the healing of the Earth and all her children. We will open sacred space and set a group intention for our blessings as we kayak on our sacred Lake. Come feel how the Spirit of the water responds to your prayers and washes over you with grace and dissolves your cares.
We will meet at Cattail Kayaks in Pinconning where Kayak Bob will instruct newcomers to kayaking basics. (It is easy and much more stable than a canoe). Paddles and lifejackets are provided. Flower offerings are provided or bring your favorites from home.
Remember your sun protection and hydration fluids. Picnic potluck after kayaking. A limited number of kayaks are available; 7 singles and 2 doubles. Reserve your spot ASAP. For anything more than a light short rain we will cancel.
